How bags Handling Works

An efficient bag palletising line typically includes a series of conveyors connected to the bagging line, along with dedicated systems for flattening, turning, conveying, and centring the bags — all essential for achieving maximum palletising precision.

These systems can be customised depending on the product type and customer requirements. They are capable of handling even partially filled or loosely packed bags.

How bag Palletising Works

Our fork-type gripper head with side guides and top presser, designed specifically for bags, ensures maximum precision and care when picking and placing the product.

Thanks to the possibility of combining it with hybrid grippers (for bags and boxes) and handling of slip sheets and pallets by the same robot, the system allows for a high degree of customisation — even in tight production environments.

Designed specifically to increase throughput on palletizing operations, the robot Series is capable of multiple palletizing configurations and features a large vertical work envelope. Get insight into your application with PalletPRO and PalletTool
The simulation software can be used to build, debug and test a palletizing application completely offline. The data created in PalletPRO can then be downloaded to a real robot controller containing the PalletTool software. By simulating your production scenario, simulation software shows you exactly what the robot can do for you and where the savings lie.

Palletizing Process

  1. Select the pallet pattern: The operator selects the desired palletizing pattern on the touchscreen HMI.
  2. Automatic pallet feeding: An empty pallet is automatically dispensed and positioned at the stacking station on the conveyor.
  3. Robot palletizing: The robot’s end-of-arm tool picks bags from the infeed conveyor and accurately places them in the programmed positions on the pallet.
  4. Finished pallet discharge: Once palletizing is complete, the finished pallet is automatically transferred out through the motorized conveyor. At the same time, a new empty pallet is automatically supplied to the stacking station, allowing continuous operation.
